| Abstract(in English) | We have been developing a CSCL System for supporting sharing students’ group reports on a subject asked by a teacher, and the teacher’s having discussions with the students on their group reports in a class in engineering majors. This paper describes on our prototype system, and our studies and trials towards practices by using our system. Our system has synchronizable collaborative workbenches for supporting the discussions by sharing the objects overlaid on the group reports by the teacher and the students. Our system was built on web-based server-client architecture, the client’s terminals introduced tablet-PC-assisted for making for smoother communication by using hand-writing with a digital pen. In trials in classes by using our system, we studied on the consisting students’ group and the designing of learning scenario in the class. Also, this paper describes on the additional functions of our system supporting students’ retrieving of the materials and the example problems related the subjects. |
