Abstract(in English) | This paper describes an accuracy improvement method of position identication for outdoors mobilerobots by using several point global positioning systems (GPS). The position identication technique is one of theimportant component for a navigation system of mobile robots. As regards implementation of GPS into mobilerobots, a low cost GPS is desired. However the low cost GPS has usually poor positional precision over severalmeters. Thus we propose a novel improvement method of position identication accuracy by using multiple GPSunits and a hierarchical neural network using relative distance of each GPS unit as input information. |
