An Extraction Method of Movie's Themes from the Review Data and its Application

Abstract(in English) We tried to extract the theme information of the movies by analyzing review data in the movie review website Yahoo!Japan Movie, using statistical and text mining methods. And we explain that the movie titles can be classified into several groups by the contents, using cluster analysis of extracted theme information. Furthermore, we show the tendency of the evaluation by review contributors and that of box-office revenue using the theme information. We can suggest appropriate movie titles for the person who wants to select ones from enormous number of their lists, if we can extract theme information of movies from review data.
