Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Grip is one of the general operation interface of tools, devices, sporting goods and etc. The aim of this study are 1) to estimate subjective usability, operability and physical load from biosignals and work performances, 2) to extract features of the physiological conditions and work performances when usability is improved and work load is reduced. The participant of this experiment are 10 male university students. The questionnaire about usability evaluation was consisted of 10 VAS questions. EMGs were measured from trapezius, erector spinae, triceps brachii, brachioradialis, biceps brachii and flexor carpi radialis. The acceleration of hand, hitting power and the area of hitting mark were measured. Each 5 times hitting by 5 hammers were analyzed. The contribution ratio of EMGs were about 79% when the large hammer (weight is 4,450g) were used. The contribution ratio of EMGs were about 47% when the small hammer(weight is 900g) were used. The good subjective usability was related to the reducing workload and improving work performance.
