| Abstract(in English) | In this article, the authors discuss a history of computer vision, that of a medical image recognition and nature of medical images. The technologies of computer vision and of medical image recognition are developing greatly and rapidly in these days. One cannot largely contribute to the researches in medical image recognition if one just follows the today’s trends of the researches in computer vision and in medical image recognition. Knowing the whole histories of the computer vision and of the medical image recognition and medical imaging sciences, one can understand the relationships between one’s researches and the other big researches appeared in the histories. The authors expect this discussion helps to accelerate and to enhance the research activities in our research community. |
