Frame field allocation method of code rate to decrease retransmission in bidirectional wireless communication system

Abstract(in English) The two-way field pickup unit (FPU) as a wireless transmission system is used broadcasting business, such as video file and voice data to transmit long distance and heavy traffic. Since a reception error occurs, a retransmission control by the automatic repeat request (ARQ) is achieved. In this paper, the proposed scheme is that the each packet is assigned different code rate in order to reduce the number of retransmissions. The basic evaluations are confirmed by throughput, the delay and the packet loss when two kinds of different code rate is allocated in each packet, and these allocated ratio are changed. The proposed scheme improved approximately 30% at the maximum in the throughput, as compared with conventional systems.
