Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have focused on the acoustic features in the joy of acting voice in this study. This study has clarified acoustic features that influence the perception of the joy of acting voice and has investigated the degree of effect on the synthesis quality of acting voice. Currently, spectral centroid and pitch of voice have an important role in synthesizing acting voices as acoustic features. The result of subjective evaluation has shown that the preference of converted voices depended on both spectral centroid and pitch of voice. Although intonation has an important role as a theatrical feature, the result of subjective evaluation does not show the significant difference. In the last subjective evaluation, intonation has been represented by the change of amplitude. However, intonation of actual voices included not only change of amplitude but also change of speech rate. Hence in this study, a subjective evaluation has been carried out using the converted voices which represent the intonation as the change of both amplitude and speech rate.
