Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | We can observed various synchronization phenomena on coupled oscillators. Changing synchronization states can be observed on coupled chaotic oscillators for eternity. However, we are hard to observe that ontinuously changing synchronization states exist on coupled van der Pol oscillators. In our previous study, we observed waves which continuously change the phase states between adjacent oscillators and propagate on ladder systems and on 2D lattice systems. For example, the wave, which changes phase states between adjacent oscillators from an in-phase synchronization to an anti-phase synchronization, continuously propagates, when all oscillators are in-phase synchronization and a phase state between an edge oscillator and a neighborhood oscillator is suddenly changed from the in-phase synchronization to the anti-phase synchronization. We call this wave a phase-inversion wave. In this study, domains of which phase-inversion waves exist are investigated by changing coupling parameters and nonlinearity on 9 or 10 van der Pol oscillators coupled by inductors as a ring. Instantaneous electric powers of the observation phenomena are investigated. The observation phenomena are compared to phenomena which are observed on a ring of 99 van der Pol oscillators or a ring of 100 van der Pol oscillators. Furthermore, actual circuit experimental results are compared to numerical experimental results on the rings of 9 or 10 van der Pol oscillators. |
