[Poster Presentation] Performance evaluation of filter-and-forward beamforming networks in the presence of IBI

Abstract(in English) In this article, we propose a filter design to suppress inter-block interference (IBI) in OFDM-based filter-and-forward relay networks. The proposed design maximizes the worst channel gain under the constraint of the perfect IBI suppression. Due to the use of beamforming with multiple relays, IBI is suppressed, and a diversity effect is obtained. Furthermore, we modify the proposed method for the case where only second-order statistics of the channels from relays to a receiver are available. Through performance evaluation by simulation, it is shown that the proposed method provides a better BER performance than the conventional methods.
