Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | With rapid growth of IoT (Internet of Things), a scenario of wireless communications between moving things is expected to be increased. Although a beam forming technology will be feasible to increase communication data volume in such a scenario, a dedicated IC is required and so the cost will increase. To resolve this issue, we proposes a sophisticated beam forming technology that controls antenna beam using commodity ICs without specific function of beam forming equipped. This paper proposes virtual array antenna technology that enables direction of arrival (DoA) estimation with a single antenna component utilizing temporal change of the antenna position, and shows the results of the feasibility evaluation of this technology using simulation and experiment. |
