Abstract(in English) In recent years,many researchers paid attention to the direct AC-AC frequency converter using high-speed switching semiconductor device.attention has been focused directly to the AC-AC frequency conversion. In this study,a matrix converter(abbr,MC)is one of the direct conversion methods.In order to improve the quality of the output waveform. we optimize the combination of the input phase and the switching angles.The optimization of the combination of the input phase is regarded as a kind of combinatorial optimization problems. Also,the optimization of the switching angles is regarded as a continuous value optimization.Thus,our objective problem is regarded as a hybrid optimization problem.In such a hybrid optimization problem,it becomes a design variable is very high dimension In this article,we focus on the symmetric property of a certain conversion condition. We consider a specific condition that the output frequency becomes three times of the input frequency.In this case, the objective dimension can be decreased.
