Abstract(in English) A vertical cavity surface emitting laser using an organic dye active layer was fabricated by a wafer bonding method, and measured by a blue laser diode pumping under pulsed condition at room temperature. A Coumarin6 concentration of 2wt% in PVK:C6 was used as the active dye material. The laser emission was observed at the wavelength of 545 nm. The obtained threshold pump power and estimated threshold current density were 160 mW and 3.2 kA/cm2, respectively.
