[Poster Presentation] A distortion noise power allocation method for cognitive radio transmitters

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new distortion noise power allocation method for cognitive radio systems. The proposed method allocates non-linear distortion noise power of transmitters among normal power and power-reduced bands according to permissibleinterference power of a high-priority system. Itemploys clipping and filtering which is one of the most effective peak power reduction methods for OFDM signals, and controls noise power so as to satisfy required SNRs in receivers. SNR performancesto set clipping levels are evaluated by computer simulations.The results show that the proposed method can allocate non-linear distortion noise power of transmitters to satisfy requirements of modulation schemes used on low-priority system bands.
