[Poster Presentation] A Highly Efficient Transmission Scheme for Multi-hop V2V Communications on Highway

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel transmission scheme combining distributed space-time block code (STBC), multiple access protocol and opportunistic routing without complicated routing algorithm for achieving high reliability for multi-hop vehicular communications. Specifically, a novel method of relay selection is proposed to select relays with high contribution according to the transmission direction. In order to reduce interference and collision, we install a new timer to select a master relay which manages transmission in each hop. From the results of simulations, we can confirm that the proposed method can achieve reducing the redundant broadcast messages with keeping the packet loss probability performance.
