The design of reactance attenuator with a wider broadband

Abstract(in English) The inductive window or capacitive window in a rectangular waveguide is used for the filters, matching circuits, and the other passive circuits. In the design of these circuits, the thickness of such windows has usually been ignored. But with the trend toward high frequencies, this is no longer the case, and there is a strong need for clarifying the effect of thickness. Here, by utilizing the effect of thickness, realize wide-band reactance attenuator. We performed calculations using precision solution that takes into account the conditions of the end point by Modified Residue-Calculus Method, to examine whether constant transmission loss characteristics within a range of band can be obtained.
