Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We discuss whether the reliability analysis based on a copula is effective for network systems. Especially, we investigate the network systems whose components fail as a chain reaction under some dependent failure-occurrence environment. Copula is a function representing a joint probability, and we try to use a copula to describe the dependency between the components. Our aim is to show the advantage of employing the copula function to this reliability analysis by the simulation study in two cases: 2-unit parallel system and 5-unit network system.
