Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Future air traffic management is expected to be based on aircraft trajectory information. For studies of this area, performance indices such as safety and complexity are required to be developed. As one such index, the authors propose a metric associated with the difficulty of air traffic control based on the proximity situation of aircraft pairs. This metric reflects three-dimensional proximity using horizontal and vertical distances independently assuming a linear aircraft trajectory with constant speed. Because of this assumption, the proximity situation for some cases may not be properly projected when trajectory change points exist within the projected time horizon. To avoid this, we considered how to modify the method to use trajectory change point information. This paper briefly describes a method of calculation using the trajectory change point information, and presents some results for simple cases.
