| 抄録(和) | 複雑な社会関係のなかで他者の行動を理解するためには，階層的な推論の能力が重要である．本研究はfMRI実験により，このような階層的な他者の行動推定が，言語における階層処理と共通の神経基盤を持つかどうかを検討した．実験協力者はMRI装置内で，戦略的なボタン押しゲームを行っている他者の絵を観察し，登場人物の行動を推測する課題を行った．このときの推測の階層の深さに小脳および楔前部の活動が応答し，文理解における階層的な統語構造処理とは異なる神経基盤を持つことが示唆された． |
| 抄録(英) | The ability of hierarchical reasoning is important for understanding others’ actions in complex social relations, but its neural mechanism is unclear. We performed an experiment with fMRI scanning in order to examine whether there is the common neural mechanism of hierarchical processing underlying both language and inferring others’ actions. We found that the activities of bilateral cerebellum and precuneus were correlated with the depth of hierarchy in action inference, while the left-hemisphere language regions were specifically activated for hierarchical syntactic processing. This result indicates that the neural substrates of hierarchical strategic inference are distinctive from those of hierarchical processing in language. |
