| Abstract(in English) | Recently, the demand for devices to inform automatically the replacement time of a diaper increases in a medical or a nursing place. The device that informs urination by detecting water is already commercially available today, however, it is difficult to detect defecation by this device. On the other hand, odorants such as sulfur compounds and/or the ammonia are included in the excrement of a human. Therefore we developed the device that is able to detect both urination and defecation by “smell”. |
