Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We performed examination for the realization of the communication between a traffic light and the vehicle. First, we measured radiation angle characteristics of the traffic light and incident angle characteristics of the receiving apparatus. Based on the result, we calculated a reception strength distribution characteristic on the communication. In addition, we simulated it based on the reception strength in each spot and made distribution properties about communication quality. Finally, I confirmed that the communication was possible from the traffic light to the spot of horizontal distance 3-70 m.
