Abstract(in English) A tightly regulated DC-DC buck converter with an on-chip one-shot circuit is presented. The proposed one-shot circuit reduces an output fluctuation compared with the conventional time-optimal response during a load transient. The buck converter is suitable for high switching frequency operation. The converter is implemented in a 0.25-m standard CMOS process, and experimental results demonstrate 68-% reduction of the overshoot voltage during a load transient compared to the conventional time-optimal response.
