Preliminary study on phase control for the stability improvement of CBC system

Abstract(in English) We have been involved in the development of a CBC (Coherent Beam Combine) for high energy laser. It is needed the CBC system to maintain optical phase difference of individual lasers to be minimized. In this paper, experimental results of phase locking by using optical phase modulators are presented. The phase stability of 0.29 [deg.] and the CBC efficiency of 0.9 have been obtained. This measurement result of phase error is good agreement with designed CBC efficiency of 0.92.
