Abstract(in English) Technology evaluation of biometric authentication systems is widely conducted based on public biometric databases especially in the academic society. However, the total performance evaluation including biometric sensors, which is called scenario evaluation, is rarely conducted mainly because of its cost to call out sufficient number of subjects proportionate to its precision. In order to enable cost-less scenario evaluation based on public biometric databases, our approach is to make use of spoof biometric samples produced from public biometric databases. In this paper, some of our recent results are reported regarding error bounds of spoof-based scenario evaluation and some intermediate experimental results conducted on a black-box biometric authentication system.
