Abstract(in English) | When a lot of students need to be evacuated from a classroom, it is important to minimize the Refuge Completion Time (RCT), which is the duration until all occupants of the classroom have reached the refuge. To this end, we can consider the following two aspects, 1) to change the method for evacuees to reach the refuge, e.g., the mutual concession of evacuees, and 2) to change the structure of the classroom, e.g., placing obstacles near the exit. In this paper, we clarified from theoretical calculations that the probability of concession, $alpha$=√2-1, minimized the duration by avoiding collisions between two evacuees. Then, using a multi-agent simulation, the optimal RCT evaluated for many evacuees (more than two) could be explained from the theoretical value. Also, the RCT time was decreased more by means of placing obstacles near the exit. |
