An Adaptive Learning Method Based on Distance to Nodes in Self-Organizing Incremental Neural Networks

Abstract(in English) The self-organizing incremental neural networks realize the clustering of inputdata by repeating to add and delete nodes. In this article, we propose an adaptive learning method which decidesthe update rule of the nodes based on the distances from the inputdata. Through the numerical experiments, the effectiveness of the proposedmethod is confirmed.
