Binary chaotic cryptography using augmented Lorenz equations

Abstract(in English) Augmented Lorenz equations are expressed as a star network of N Lorenz subsystems sharing the scalar variable X as the central node. When the time series of the variable X and matrix variables Y are acquired at an appropriate sampling time, the binary pseudorandom sequence generated by the time series is shown to have statistical properties characteristic of those of uniform binary random numbers. In this report, we discuss the degree of security for the one-time-pad cryptographic method using the binary pseudorandom numbers.
