Abstract(in English) | This paper presents the link level simulation results of downlink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) with SU (Single-user)-MIMO and successive interference canceller (SIC) considering various precoder combinations. In the simulations, we apply codebook based SU-MIMO precoding which is specified in the LTE (Long Term Evolution) Transmission Mode 4 (TM4) for 2-by-2 transmission and the number of multiplexed user equipment (UE) is two. And we clarify the performance of NOMA with codeword level SIC (CWIC) for the cell-center UE and the performance of the cell-edge UE, which does not apply SIC. Based on the link level simulations, we show that for cell-center UE the influence of precoder combination is marginal when the allocated transmission power ratio of cell-center UE is below 0.4. We also show that for cell-edge UE when transmission rank of both UE is two, the influence of precoder combination is marginal, and when transmission rank of both UE is one and the allocated transmission power ratio of cell-center UE is below 0.35, the performance difference among different precoder combinations can be within 3.5 dB. |
