Abstract(in English) We developed four 25.8 Gbps InGaAlAs-MQW DFB lasers modulated directly which have four lasing wavelengths correspond to CWDM grid for compact 100GbE transceivers in data centers. We performed eye pattern evaluation and transmission tests through an 11.4 km-long SMF. We confirmed clear eye openings and achieved error-free transmissions over a temperature range from 25°C to 85°C. Dispersion penalty after 11.4 km transmission in CWDM wavelength range was estimated to be 0.4 dB. Our DFB lasers are suitable for light sources with ample performance to fulfill the requirements of compact 100G transceiver.
