Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A quantitative diagnostic method for liver fibrosis using a multi-Rayleigh model which is a model of a probability density function of ultrasound echo signals from liver tissue has been examined. In our previous study, a removing method of nonspeckle signals which are echo signals from nonspeckle structures such as a blood vessel wall was proposed. In this paper, an estimation accuracy of quantitative diagnostic method for liver fibrosis considering nonspeckle signals was evaluated. A computer simulation using scatterer distribution model considering nonspeckle structure was performed. Then, the proposing method was applied to the clinical data. The fibrosis parameters based on the multi-Rayleigh model were estimated accurately. The clinical data could be evaluated correctly by our proposing method.
