| Abstract(in English) | In this report, in order to remove the random-valued impulse noise superimposed on the color image, a new switch-type impulse noise removal method, which consists of a new impulse noise detector and a new noise removal filter, is propose. Concretely, a new impulse noise detector, which performs the aggressive noise detection, is realized by applying the isolation detection to the differential images among components of the input image. And, as a new noise removal filter, the non-local vector median filter, which is an extended filter of the non-local median filter to deal with the vector signal, is proposed. In the proposed method, impulse noises are well detected and removed effectively while preserving image structures. Through the experiments, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified. |
