An Accuracy Evaluation of Path Loss Models over Non Line-of-Sight Intersections in V2V Communications

Abstract(in English) In this paper, accuracy of path loss models in an intersection environment of vehicle to vehicle communications (V2V) is evaluated. The models are a simplified path loss estimation formula and two modified versions of the formulae (modified path loss estimation model 1 and modified path loss estimation model 2). Path losses estimated by the formulae are compared with those by the ray-tracing method. By the comparison, the estimation accuracy of the formulae is evaluated. Also, we show the results of the comparison with the path loss by the ITU-R model.
