Personal authentication by combination of keystroke dynamics and images for fingers

Abstract(in English) This report proposes a personal authentication method based on the combination of keystroke dynamics and fingers images, which can beextracted from passwords inputted. In the authentication method using the keystroke dynamics, we have an advantage that this method needs only the keyboard. However, since the keystroke dynamics has a large fluctuation, the authentication accuracy becomes poor by using only metrics of thekeystroke dynamics. Therefore, we improve the authentication accuracy by the combination of keystroke dynamics and fingers images. Finally, we show the effusiveness of the proposed authenticationmethod.
