Abstract(in English) We examined the relationship between cladding diameter and cutoff wavelength on hole assisted optical fiber(HAF). We show that the cutoff wavelength can be estimated by using a confinement loss difference between fundamental and higher order modes. We investigate the possibility of a 60 μm cladding HAF with low bending loss characteristics.
