Abstract(in English) The position information of the robot is required in order to perform a remote operation and environment sensing for the mobile robot. Available area for positioning by GPS information is limited, and that error between the actual position is large. So the purpose of this study is to use UWB wireless technology in order to perform positioning regardless of there is indoor or outdoor. It is desirable that the mobile Battery-powered robot can use long time. We propose a system for both the high-precision positioning and low power consumption by changing the positioning interval depending on the shape of the movement path.
