Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Research and development for constructing healthcare networks have actively been progressed. Various type of wearable vital sensors have also been developed as the basis of above healthcare networks construction. Although almost all of the sensor requires the small size of battery cell, the sensor which doesn’t need cells is strongly expected to eliminate the overhead of checking residual capacity of cell and exchange tasks. In this work, we discussed power feeding method to the sensor introducing state of the art technology of energy harvesting. We proposed the method of generating electric power from the temperature difference between surface of body and the shirt. The temperature of the shirt surface are lowered by evaporation heat due to sweating. The experimental results of newly proposed energy harvesting technology are described and also clarified that the sensor can sufficiently be worked by this new energy.
