Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, Medical and Information and Communications Technology is receiving attention. IEEE802.15.6 is stipulated for Body Area Network(BAN) as international standard by IEEE. In the standard, there are three modes of MAC protocol. One of them divide time axis or channel into superframes of equal length. Each superframes are roughly classified into two periods, one is contention access period(CAP), and another is contention free period(CFP). The present standard dose not specify about balance of CAP and CFP. In the case of fixed balance, it dose not corresponding with traffic fluctuation and communication quality deteriorates. So, in this study, we proposed a MAC protocol with optimal balance considering data priority for BAN. It can reduce average communication delay time by changing balance between CAP and CFP according to traffic fluctuation.
