Abstract(in English) Today, the number and kinds of devices such as information appliances and sensors keep increasing. Thus, we consider Device Functions Virtualization (DFV) where functionalities of devices can be utilized for service providers through the Web APIs. We suppose that some DFV’s functions are installed on a wide variety of devices which have already located on the user side. However, it is relatively expensive to install some DFV’s functions on each device one by one because diverse devices have diverse characteristics of hardware or software environment. In this paper, we study the method which can install the same software on diverse devices and make best use of both server’s resource and device’s one effectively.
