| Abstract(in English) | In our daily life we have two major eating styles: eating with family or friends (co-eating), eating alone (solitary eating) sometimes by watching TV and operating cellphone. We have analyzed human communicative eating behaviors focusing on co-eating situations. However, human behaviors in solitary eating situations have not been analyzed, so it has not been clear how communications during eating on influence human behaviors. In this paper, we compare behaviors of co-eating with that of solitary eating, particularly paying attentions to subject’s gaze and eating behaviors. The results suggest that variations of behaviors for co-eating participants is small because they need to make conversations with partners. while that of eating alone participants are large according to their own conveniences. |
