| 抄録(和) | 人とコンピュータの感性的なコミュニケーションを実現するため，人が感情をどのように表出するのか，また，表出された感情をどのように認識するのか明らかにすることは重要である．そこで本実験では感情の表出源であり，感情の認識源でもあると考えられている瞳孔に着目し，感情の喚起によって瞳孔径がどのように変動するのか，また，その変動を観察したとき他者がどのような感情を抱いているように認識するのか調査した．結果，覚醒度が高まると瞳孔径の振幅が大きく，また，不快度が大きくなると瞳孔径変動の分散量が大きくなる傾向があることが示された．他者の感情認識においては，快を感じていると認識しやすい，または高揚していると認識しやすい瞳孔径変動特性があることが示唆されたが，その認識は他者の実際の感情と必ずしも一致しないことが示された． |
| 抄録(英) | It is important to know how we recognize others’ emotions and how we express our emotions for developing a sophisticated human machine interface. In this research, we focused on the pupil response and investigated how pupil size changes by the emotional state and how we recognize the emotional state of others by observing the dynamic changes in pupil size. The result showed that the average size of pupil was larger when the level of arousal was high and that the variance in pupillary response was larger when the level of arousal was low. When recognizing emotional state of others, some specific patterns of dynamic changes in pupil size could affect the estimation of arousal and valence, although, they were not necessarily consistent with the actual emotional state of others. |
