[Special Talk] Design requirements of large deployable antenna for high-frequency band satellites

Abstract(in English) Large scale on-board antenna are desirable for advanced mobile satellite communication systems. High frequencies require a solid surface due to a high-precision specular surface. However, large-scale onboard antenna are called mesh deployable antenna in which the mesh that reflects radiation is expanded to configure the specular surface. This report describes regarding the development for large deployable reflectors and design method for reducing their weight and ensuring high accuracy on surface.
