| Abstract(in English) | In our laboratory, Development of a training program for RF design engineer is under investigation. First, tapered line impedance transformer which is one of the microwave experimental kit called MW-1000 manufactured by Man & tel Co. was selected for an analysis example. And it was investigated with the object of theory, HFSS and measurement. Second, similar investigation was conducted by manufacturing a sample circuit using FR-4 substrate to experience a set of process from the design to measurement. In result, relatively good agreement was obtained between theoretical results, HFSS and measurement. We found it is applicable to a training program for RF design engineer. In future study, we will examine the difference between calculated and measured characteristics in detail by increasing the number of sample circuit. |
