A Study on Optical Wireless Code Shift Keying Using Extended Pseudo Orthogonal M-Sequence

Abstract(in English) In this paper, the optical wireless code shift keying (CSK) system using the extended pseudo orthogonal M-sequence is considered. The performance of the CSK systems using the plural optical PN code can be improved by increasing the number of the optical PN code. The extended pseudo orthogonal M-sequence, which combines the pseudo orthogonal M-sequence (POM) with bi-orthogonal code, is proposed as the optical PN code for the CSK systems. Furthermore, theoretical equations of the data transmission rate and bit error rate (BER) are derived and evaluated. As a result, the CSK system using the extended pseudo orthogonal M-sequence can accomplish the better performance than the CSK system using the pseudo-orthogonal extended prime code set which is the conventional optical PN code.
