Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We demonstrated holographic vector-wave femtosecond laser processing based on a control of degrees of freedom of light, including amplitude, phase and polarization. It is capable of performing the surface structuring of the material with high-throughput and flexibility for the control of tribology, wettability, light reflection property and polarization property. In the experiment, a polarization characteristic of the laser processing system was verified, and was described using the Poincare sphere. In addition, a processing resolution with a single vector beam was estimated as a fundamental characteristic of the system. Two-dimensional parallel laser processing was also performed by the multifocal vector beams.
