Analysis of writing behaviors by learners in solving process for problems

Abstract(in English) In this report, we discuss the analysis results for writing behaviors by students in the process of solving problems. Here, we treat a case that students solve problems by the reference of their notes taken in video lectures. Concretely, we propose image processing methods for the detection of writing behaviors by students. Moreover, we propose methods for the detection of the status of students; (i) solving behavior, (ii) pausing behavior, (iii) referring to notes. Finally, we show analysis results for writing behaviors by students by the proposed methods.
