Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we investigated how sensory information contributed during sighting movements. Typical experiments have adopted reaching and simple pointing paradigm, while we used the task which required participants to equally divide between two targets with a pen tablet device. Through two experiments, it was indicated the importance of visual information of target position, relative to that of participants' body position. Moreover, although speed/accuracy trade-off has been elaborated in typical pointing and reaching study, our result of the experiment 3 showed that movement accuracy was decreased not only when participants were required to fasten , but also slow their velocity during pointing movement.
