[Invited Talk] Development of the decision support system for the localized torrential rainfall and Demonstration test in Kobe city

Abstract(in English) Recently, localized torrential rainfall have been happened in urban area. To prevent this kind of disaster, NICT developed the PANDA system (Phased Array weather radar and Doppler lidar Network fusion DAta system) and the decision support system for torrential rainfall. Demonstration test was conducted in Kobe city last year. This paper explains the detail of the PANDA system, the decision support system, and demonstration test.
