| 抄録(和) | 交通事故の抑止と道路交通の効率化をめざして，ワイヤレス通信を利用したITS (Intelligent Transport System: 高度道路交通システム）安全運転支援技術の実用化が進められてきたが、最近はこの技術をさらに高度化することで自動運転の実現に寄与することが期待されるようになっている．ITS通信技術としては，各車両が位置・速度等の情報を周辺車両へ通知する車車間通信，道路上に路側機と呼ばれるインフラ機器を設置して道路規制・信号等の情報を周辺の車両へ提供する路車間通信，さらに車両と歩行者との歩車間通信が検討されている．これまでの安全運転支援を目的とするシステムではドライバが運転を行うことが大前提であり，これらの通信はドライバを支援するものとして位置付けられていた．しかしながら自動運転では，通信により得た情報をドライバを介さずに，直接車の制御に用いることになる．したがって通信内容の重要性は従来に比べてはるかに高く，通信に対する要求条件もこれまでの安全運転支援システムとは大きく異なると考えられる．本講演では自動運転に向けたITS通信技術の高度化の技術動向と今後の課題について述べる． |
| 抄録(英) | Wireless communication technology for Intelligent Transport System (ITS) has been developed to support safety driving and achieve smooth traffic flow. Recently, it is also expected as an important means of automated driving in the future. Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V), Infrastructure-to-Vehicle (I2V), and Vehicle-to-Pedestrian (V2P) communications have been studied as essential means of the ITS communications. For the current purpose of safety driving, information carried by ITS communication is supposed to be given to a driver at first, so that he can drive the vehicle more safely with the responsibility of driving. However, in the automated driving system, the information does not pass through a driver, but directly utilized to control the vehicle. Therefore, importance of the information is significantly higher for automated driving systems than the current level. Requirements for the communications are also different from those of the safety driving support. This talk gives technical trends and issues for the enhancement of ITS communications aiming at automated driving. |
