Abstract(in English) | Wide spread of radio information systems has increased danger caused by counterfeited information. For example, the Automatic Identification System is nowadays regarded as a key part for achieving maritime awareness and allows an emitter in principle to broadcast counterfeited information, since its coding rule is published. To prevent such fraudulent devices from accessing a wireless system, radiometric identification of emitters has been developed. From a user point of view, identifiers of wide ranges of targets are preferred. In this paper, a support vector machine utilizing linear kernel functions is introduced. Experiment on identification of signals whose noise ratios are controlled over a wide range shows graceful robustness of accuracy. This method contributes directly to widen area of awareness. Furthermore, linear kernel functions allow effective identification based on hierarchical nature of Automatic Identification System signals. |
