Dynamaics Analysis of Digital Tent Map for Lattice Point Arrangement

Abstract(in English) Discretizing the tent map, we obtain the digital tent map defined on a set of lattice points. As is well known, the tent map exhibits chaotic orbit, whereas the digital tent map has various steady states of periodic orbits. The transient phenomena are also of wide variety. Depending on the parameters and initial value, the map can exhibit various periodic orbits. Especially, we consider effects of the lattice points arrangement on the dynamics of the map. In order to characterize the dynamics of the map, we introduce a feature quantity of steady states, that of transient phenomena and a feature quantities plane. Using the feature quantities, we analyze basic dynamics and demonstrate typical examples.
