Synchronization and chaos in a coupled system of two boost converters

Abstract(in English) This paper studies basic dynamics of a coupled system of two boost converters. The two converters are coupled by current-threshold and winner-take-all switching rules. The dynamics is described by a simple piecewice linear equation and the Lorenz plot can be caluculated precicely. Performing numerical experiment, it is shown this 2-phase synchronization is changed into various chaotic phenomena. Presenting a simple test circuit, typical phenomena are confirmed experimentally.
